I couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity to take Skillcrush 101. I was recently laid off and this class gave me untold amounts of confidence during the emotional rollercoaster that is unemployment. This class not only taught me best practices, it gave me a more holistic view so that I could really understand how HTML and CSS function together as well as how they relate with other programming languages. Skillcrush 101 is a class I’m recommending to literally everyone I know!

What was your life / situation like before Skillcrush?

I felt completely stuck at the job I was in. No opportunities for growth or enrichment, I wasn't being challenged or using my talents, and I hated the day-to-day atmosphere and tasks. I was driving my friends and family crazy with complaining, but I didn't know what else to do. I knew that whatever move I made would involve more education (a BA in psychology doesn't get you very far in the real world), but I wasn't making enough money to enroll in a traditional program. I felt totally stuck.
