A million thanks to Skillcrush – I’m thrilled to report that I built my second website completely from scratch last month. Since the site has gone live, I’ve gotten lots of compliments on my work, and I’ve already been asked to build more websites! As I joined the Skillcrush 101 course with the hopes of starting a career in tech, you can just imagine how excited I am – and it’s all thanks to Skillcrush! I’m happier than I’ve ever been with my professional life now that I’ve finally found my passion and started learning the skills necessary to make a career in it.

What was your life / situation like before Skillcrush?

I felt completely stuck at the job I was in. No opportunities for growth or enrichment, I wasn't being challenged or using my talents, and I hated the day-to-day atmosphere and tasks. I was driving my friends and family crazy with complaining, but I didn't know what else to do. I knew that whatever move I made would involve more education (a BA in psychology doesn't get you very far in the real world), but I wasn't making enough money to enroll in a traditional program. I felt totally stuck.
