Before this class, I had zero understanding of how the Internet worked. I am truly shocked at how easy (and fun!) it was for me to learn to code with Skillcrush. The classes are fast, fluid and efficient, and the instructors were extremely accessible and friendly. Not only was the class interesting, but I feel very empowered with my new tech knowledge. It is a lot simpler than you think to make a website. I can’t believe I have gone so many years without knowing anything about how websites function.

What was your life / situation like before Skillcrush?

I felt completely stuck at the job I was in. No opportunities for growth or enrichment, I wasn't being challenged or using my talents, and I hated the day-to-day atmosphere and tasks. I was driving my friends and family crazy with complaining, but I didn't know what else to do. I knew that whatever move I made would involve more education (a BA in psychology doesn't get you very far in the real world), but I wasn't making enough money to enroll in a traditional program. I felt totally stuck.
