Link Crushes for the week of November 18th

Each week we curate the best of the Internet. Everything you missed, all in one place!

Last week, we discovered some excellent things (and ate too much holiday food):

1. COIN: I got crazy excited to discover (and then promptly bought at the 50% earlybird discount rate) Coin – ONE card, to rule us all. Read more about the Coin card, which basically lets you load all your debit and credit cards on to it, then switch between them when you pay for something – is one of those things I’ve always wanted to invent but you know, didn’t (see what our CEO Adda Birnir thinks about that statement). The Card to End All Cards: Could Coin Put the Kibosh on Plastic?

2. CUBES: More research proves why Cubicles Are the Absolute Worst

3. GOLDIEBLOX: We all fell in love with, then watched disappointed as toy company Goldieblox and The Beastie Boys fought over the company’s use of the Beastie Boys’ song “Girls” in their ad.

4. MOOCS: As the “first wave” of MOOCs wraps up – some interesting data reveals that MOOCs are Largely Reaching Privileged Learners

Still not sure what all this MOOC business is about? Check out the Skillcrush definition and get a clear, quick answer.

5. GAME OF THRONES: For our Game of Thrones fan friends, we were shocked and amused by this image of Every Death in the Game of Thrones Novels, Bookmarked

What’d you find this week that blew your mind? Let us know in the comments! :D
