As we say farewell to Q1, it’s time to take stock. How are we doing not just as employees, but as individuals? I am a nerd about mastering the 9-5. Ideally, I would batch-prep lunch for the week on Sundays, work out every morning BEFORE work, maximize productivity by eliminating distractions and focusing intensely for short bursts of time, etc etc. These oft-sited paths to workweek #winning may not work for everyone, but it’s important to experiment and find strategies that help us achieve the life balance we all desperately need. I SO believe that unlike “having it all”, balance is actually possible. So therefore, it’s important to evaluate our routines and habits and continue to tweak, improve, and cast aside that which doesn’t serve us. This week’s round up of links is in the spirit of finding the strategies that will make work in Q2 more successful so that we can have and relish more play.
