Adda Birnir

Adda Birnir, CEO

Adda is a front-end developer and ruby newbie, wannabe student, and lover of Hall & Oates videos on YouTube. We can’t fault her for the last one, but we really don’t understand it. She is obsessed with creating great products and has fine-tuned this obsession by creating interactive news applications for WNYC, The New York Times, MTV, and Huffington Post. In a previous life, she co-founded Balance Media, a media focused client services company.

Kate McGee

Kate McGee, CCO

Responsible for all things brand. She has a passion for intuitive user experience and believes websites are only as good as the ease to use them. Prior to launching Skillcrush, she co-founded Balance Media, where she led the design team and did product development for several of New York’s high-profile media outlets. A self-proclaimed problem solver. She lives by Milton Glaser’s credo “just enough is more.”
